REQUIRED SKILLS
- Extensive experience building rich, internet media is absolutely required – preference for interactive agency exposure
- Deep-rooted .C# NET development expertise (3.5-4)
- SQL Programming expertise, with specific experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Although this role is for the back-end development – you solid have an understanding of frontend development standards and tools (e.g., XHTML and XSLT, CSS and CSS-P driven layout and mark-up, semantic mark-up, web accessibility, integration of JavaScript and AJAX functionality using frameworks such as jQuery...) and the ability to implement front-end code provided by other developers.
- Exposure to implementing Ektron or Kentico CMS based websites is a plus – otherwise you will need hands-on experience building web applications on top of another CMS (open source or 3rd party)
- Should have a philosophical preference for developing in accordance to best practices and using when possible and appropriate, broadly adopted application development frameworks.
- Ability to translate business and design requirements into an effective, elegant, usable and maintainable technical solution.
- Ability to articulate solutions that meet business and design requirements that at the same time do not introduce significant technological and budgetary risk (including when necessary proposing alternative approaches to meeting business and design requirements or recommending restrictions in scope where proposed features and functions are not feasible)
