TECHNICAL WRITER

Our client is a real Canadian start-up success story - they are David against Goliath! Their ground-breaking mobile product offering has exploded in popularity this year and has won accolades from around the world.

In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of writing projects covering product guides, online copy, FAQs, short intro guides built into mobile apps and occasional scripts for video user guides. The successful individual should consider themselves a “tech-geek” they will need to be passionate about technology and mobile devices – coupled with the innate ability to take complex devices and create simple, user-friendly instructional documentation.

This is a new position with an up and coming mobile eCommerce company in Toronto.
 

Required Skills

• B.A. or B.S.c. or equivalent work experience is required.

• The successful candidate will posses advanced written communication skills

• Ability to modify style, tone and complexity of the writing to suit various technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong knowledge and a demonstrated history of creating clear, concise writing techniques

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a constantly changing environment.

• High standards of accuracy and detail.
